Job Description:
James Clinical Resource Unit – ONC/MS TELE EXP – 12 NIGHTS (D/N rotating schedule available)
13-16 week assignment
Minimum 2 + years of M/S level or higher required! ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED! EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Comprehensive Cancer Center, 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units/ 36 beds. Units are specialized by cancer diagnosis.
Floating to MedSurg units including:
• BMT
• Acute Leukemia
• Hematology
• Medical Oncology
• Gynecological Oncology
• Urology
• Colorectal
• Surgical Oncology
• Corrections Healthcare
-Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls
Certifications required:
• ACLS
• BLS
Staffing ratios – goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5
Weekends – variable based on unit needs
No set/blocked scheduling as that is not something we offer our permanent staff
Self-schedule requests – you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
First week of orientation is Mon – Fri dayshift. Five shifts of bedside orientation b/t weeks 2 and 3, then independent
