Job Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and is not allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a cancel and DNR.
REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 year – *MS/Ortho experience preferred
Traveler Experience: NOT REQUIRED
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Management of dysrhythmias required O2 Protocol Management, Non-invasive airway management, Peripheral line care/management, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Electronic charting (EPIC), Rapid Response Team Activation
Certs: BCLS
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: ACLS, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of drips,
Central line care/management, Blood products administration. MS/Ortho experience
JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:6-7
Shift: 12Hr Nights. 36 or 48s available. 13 to 26 week contracts
RTO: 7 days MAX
Call Requirement: NONE
Float Requirement: *Floating to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding. Expected to float to the main campus 15 minutes away
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
