Job Description:
No RTO will be accepted between 2/15/26 through 2/28/26.
Unit Details:
• Type: PCU
• Beds: 22 (16 rooms)
• Avg. Daily Census: 20
• Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
• Common Diagnoses: Burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery (flaps, grafts, leech therapy), urology, GYN, ENT, oral/maxillofacial surgeries.
• Special Procedures: Burn dressings, flap checks, leech therapy.
• Systems: EPIC (documentation), Pyxis (medication).
• Support Services Available: IV/pharmacy, respiratory, PT, social work, transport, rapid response.
Shift Information:
• 12-hour shifts: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Every other/third weekend coverage required
• Floating within OSU required
Certifications Required:
• BLS, ACLS
Experience:
• 2+ years of recent PCU experience (with like patient population)
• Previous charge RN experience preferred
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
